BACKGROUND AND FAMILY

We moved into our family home on Sixth Street in 1963. I am practically a native! I attended Robinson, American Martyrs (where my mother Trudie was the secretary to the principal) and Mira Costa. I was the sixteenth person in my family to attend USC.  If you are reading this and attended ‘the other school”, truth is, yours is a good school too!  Prior to beginning my Real Estate career, I was in the hotel business serving in various Sales and Marketing Management positions with Hilton and Marriott Hotels, ending up in the position of Director of Catering Sales. The transition into Real Estate from the hospitality industry was a simple one, as both involve a good sense of communication, listening, organizational and negotiation skills.  A solid sense of marketing and people skills come in handy too. It is really all about people.  Having been raised at the beach with a tremendous sense of values, all things in my life are done with truth, honesty and integrity in place.

I was blessed in being able to raise my two daughters Hanna and Holland in the same beach home where I grew up with my two sisters. We believe each day at the beach to be a blessing, a gift, and cherish them as such.

I see what I do as being much more about helping others than about selling real estate. My business is built upon honestly and openly informing and educating others.  This is important, so that when you are ready to make the move all options are well understood and have been thoroughly thought through.  It is of the utmost importance to me, that you are clear about what you are doing, and that it is the best choice for you.  I share without hesitation whatever information you need, and will always offer what I believe to be the best ideas are for your specific situation.  I am a full-time Realtor, and have lived and worked in Manhattan Beach for over forty five years, specialize in my neighborhood and community.  I do not commute into the beach cities for work, I live here.  What happens here is as important to me and to my family as it is to you and to yours.  I specialize in the three beach cities, and love the fact that I am always so readily available to my clients when necessary.  I will happily help outside these areas, or will refer another qualified agent, if I feel I am not the best representation.
